Uinta is heading to London!

By admin

July 9th, 2010

We’re  going to London!  The Brewers Association’s Export Development Program will be showcasing a variety of American craft beers from small, independent breweries at the Great British Beer Festival (GBBF), August 3-7, 2010 at Earls Court in London, England.

The GBBF is Britain’s largest beer festival.  In 2009, 64,000 beer drinkers attended the event.  The festival is styled as the “biggest pub in the world” and offers over 500 beers from British pubs.

The Brewers Association is displaying and tasting Uinta beers in the “USA and Rest of World” section of the festival.  This area will be branded with U.S. craft beer promotional materials, and it is hoped that this section will provide excellent exposure for American craft beers in general.

Uinta will be showcasing seven brands at the event.  Included in the lot are Anglers Pale Ale and Anniversary Barleywine.  Wyld Organic Extra Pale Ale will be the sole representative of Uinta’s Four+ series.  Additionally, the Crooked Line beers will be making their first overseas debut.  All four of the first Crooked Line release brands will be in attendance: Cockeyed Cooper Bourbon Barrel Barley Wine, Detour Double IPA, Labyrinth Black Ale, and Tilted Smile Imperial Pilsner.

According to the Brewers Association, this is the 33rd year that the Great British Beer Festival has been celebrating great beer and honoring brewing tradition. In 2009, it was reported that U.S. craft beer exports have been increasing substantially for seven consecutive years.

Uinta is honored to be one of only 26 US breweries that will be a part of 2010 Great British Beer Festival, and is proud to present beers that will showcase the quality of US craft beer.
